[ May. 21, 2024 ] [ Jun. 13, 2024 ] Nuclear Magnetic Resonance ( NMR ) is a powerful and sophisticated biophysical technique with broad applications in many disciplines. The High Field Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Center ( HFNMRC ) was first established in 2002 by Dr.Tai-huang Huang, under the support from National Research Program for Genomic Medicine, to meet the challenging needs in structure-functional characterization of proteins and other macromolecules in the post-genomic era. Since 2015, HFNMRC become one of the core facilities under Division of Instrument Center in Academia Sinica. It is our goal to make this a truly world-class national high-field NMR facility to support and promote structural genomics, structural biology and pharmaceutically related research and developmental activities in Taiwan in general. The thrusts of NMR spectroscopy are:
Currently, HFNMRC operates and maintains six state-of-the-art NMR spectrometers:
